As part of the evolving RNRU Communications Strategy, we are proud to announce the launch of our refreshed website. As our RNRU followers will see, it has a completely new look, design & feel. We hope that you will find it much easier to navigate and get the information that you want to see regarding RNRU fixtures, match reports and imagery. We are proud to be a part of the RNRU community. Things will be changing frequently as we fine tune our content. Our goal is to bring content to you in a professional and efficient manner, providing an interactive and engaging experience.

We have been working very hard to bring a modern website to you, our RNRU followers. You will see various changes as we implement all the features that we have planned. Our merchandise and shop section of the website is still under development and is due to ‘go-live’ later this year. It is our intention to ensure that Team Sheets, Match Reports and media features are displayed in as real time as possible, linked to regular updates on Facebook and Twitter (@RNrugby). We welcome Alligin Photography as the official provider of imagery to the RNRU. This contract will see Alligin Photography provide a variety of high class action imagery from a cross-section of representative matches and key Union events. As part of the ongoing development of the RNRU’s communications activities, Alligin Photography will also provide match reports and a number of feature articles throughout the season. Our new website also hosts a virtual link to Alligin Photography’s History of Navy Rugby information so that our followers can get easy access to all the news, stories and history from within the RNRU site. We also welcome a new ‘Tweeter’ to the RNRU Comms team, Andy Millard, who will be looking to get out and about to as many matches as possible during the forthcoming season, in order to Tweet match play as the game proceeds.

Our RNRU fixtures events will be listed as far in advance as possible to allow you time to fit them into your schedule. These will include both Community and Representative fixtures, along with a map/directions to matches. We hope to see you at many of our RNRU events.

I am hugely indebted to the 'behind the scenes' team who have been instrumental in the development, design and construction of our new RNRU website; I won’t embarrass you here, but you know who you are! Their tireless support, unflagging energy and continued good humour during some challenging, and often frustrating, times speaks volumes of their personal commitment to the RNRU. Thank you.
