Royal Navy U23 v Cambridge University LX
This Sunday (04 Nov 12), will see the U23s host Cambridge University at Burnaby Road, kicking off at 2.15pm. This is a vital game as it is the last chance for the squad to play prior to the 2012 Inter-Services Championship. There are a number of players returning from either injury or unavailability, these including Mne (Josh) Terry (RM Poole) and Mne (Scott) Puleston (30 Cdo IX Gp).
The weekend will start early for the squad as training commences on Friday afternoon at HMS Sultan and will continue throughout Saturday. On completion of the weekend the Inter-Services squad will be named with the first match being an evening kick off 7pm at home against the RAF on the 16 Nov 12.
Head Coach Captain Scott Ashley (NCHQ) said " We must dominate all areas of the game on Sunday and ensure that we stick to the game plan. We started far too slowly against Oxford University, this Sunday we must be ready and decisive from the first blow of the referees whistle.
