The Royal Navy Rugby Union is delighted to report that Sam Matavesi, one of the Senior XV team players, has been selected to represent Fiji in the Autumn 2018 Internationals against Scotland, Uruguay and France this November. Sam first came to the attention of the RNRU while he was under training at HMS Raleigh and since then he has been a regular feature on the team sheet.

The first match of the season for the Royal Navy Rugby Women's Development side was a great success with a mix of existing players and new recruits taking to the pitch at Burnaby Road last Wednesday to play a fun, fast-paced game of rugby against Havant Ladies. Although the final score reflected a Havant win, 15 - 26, the evening was an unqualified success for the Royal Navy Rugby Union Women.
