The Navy Referees Society has caught up with the digital age and has taken delivery of their first communications set. Many ardent rugby follows will be used to seeing match officials with ear pieces in. Carney Park 18th December, NATO Lions walked out in Carney Park on Sunday wanting to maintain their winning streak as they played local Italian team Portici. The first 15 minutes saw the teams in lock a down as the Lions fought hard to absorb the constant barrage of Portici attacks. Lions look unsettled and found it hard to gain control. The late arrival of Newbury caused the kick off to be delayed by 30 mins on an evening blighted by the traffic congestion caused by a crash on the M27.
