Women’s rugby union in the Royal Navy is on the up and since its creation in 1999 the squad has grown from strength to strength. With player numbers continuing to rise, despite the recent pandemic, the RNRU Women in 21/22 fielded one of its strongest sides to date which Resulted in an amazing season with some great team performances. Whilst also seeing the squad play the first every Army V Navy game on the hallowed grounds of Twickenham and the first ever tour to South Africa. The Royal Navy Rugby Union are looking to appoint a suitably qualified, passionate and committed individual, who has experience of coaching the full 15 aside game, to the RNRU(W) Coaching Team. This is a voluntary position. The individual should possess or be working towards a Level 2 Certificate in Coaching Rugby Union or a similar qualification.
