The Royal Navy Senior Rugby side will kick off their 2021-22 season earlier than usual this year with a Friday night visit to Championship side Cornish Pirates on 3 rd September.
It will be the first time that the Royal Navy side has played at the famous Mennaye Field and the Senior Service will hope to make the most of their debut in Penzance. With the Fleet Air Arm consistently churning out talented service rugby players and RNAS Culdrose only being 15 miles to the East it is a surprise that the two sides haven’t met previously. Held on the Nicklaus Signature Golf Course at Mellion International Resort on the 30 th of June the golf day enabled the RNRU to thank sponsors and friends for their continued support during challenging times.
